WINDOWS XP SUPPORT TEAMS’ SOLUTION TO VIDEO PROBLEMS

Looks like a problem that needs the Windows XP support teams’ intervention. According to the Windows XP support team, these are signs indicating anomalies in your computer hardware drivers. In such situations, the Windows XP support team recommends the use of the Video Display Troubleshooter. This feature holds a directory of video problems, symptoms associated with these problems and also their logical solutions.

You may be thinking, how do I do that? Well, as the computer support team puts it, it’s a piece of cake.

Troubleshooting steps prescribed by the Windows XP support team

  1. Press Start and then click Help and Support. In the next screen, click Fixing a problem under Pick a Help Topic.
  2. Click Games, Sound and Video Problems and then select Display Troubleshooter.
  3. In the next screen, a list of video related errors will be given. The Windows XP support team advices that you select the option that best describes the trouble that you are facing.

Your computer should work fine now. If it isn’t working as hoped, the computer support team recommends the following steps.

  1. Open Internet Explorer. Click Tools and then Windows Update to check for driver updates.
  2. Click Yes when prompted to install the recommended updates. Now click “Express Install (Recommended: High Priority Updates for Your Computer)”. The update feature takes a little time to search for the updates.
  3. Select each recommended update and then press Install.

The Windows XP support team says that you can save time when using the Video Display Troubleshooter by clicking Back button in place of Start Over, if your problem isn’t fixed.
